Everything is hazy with the fresh fog of dawn. Nothing is set in black or white, except that if you don’t paddle, you don’t move.
Winding Valley Milkyway
From Casal de Loivos viewpoint, you can see the milkyway almost touching Douro’s spectacular wine valleys. This landscape is beautiful during the day or at night, where the two rivers Douro and Pinhão meet, wine shall be enjoy!.
Glimpse of Light
Struggling to meet the light from the canyon floor. This lonesome tree, covered with darkness, focusing on glimpses of light for hundreds of years, has managed to pass the canyon walls for an amazing view. So amazing what nature determination can accomplish.
Emerson Point Sunset
One of the many colourful sunset, during my visit to Florida. This shot was taken off Emerson Point, I was driving and this sky was turning into these magnificent colours. I just had to stop and take a photo.
Lone Red Amongst Evergreens
I went camping to capture the autumn colours, and to my surprise the majority of trees lining the shorelines of Wagon Road Lake were evergreens, not really what I had in mind, but it didn’t take much exploring until I found this lone maple tree, in full autumn colour. The red stood out amongst the evergreens and was simply perfect.
Sunset Over Gren Roof
Nestled in Serra da Estrela Natural Park, this cork and moss green roof bungalow is a gem of a place to visit. Fresh produce grown onsite and some fur animals to keep us company. This bungalow sets the stage for some really lovely sunsets daily.
One of my favourite places to escape into wilderness, where moments become memories. Dusk’s calm subtle light, after the sunset’s grand event gives a moment of peace. Water turns into glass and the wind blows a little lighter.
Lost in the Fog
I was in search of a lone tree today, I thought this fog would make a perfect photo. After some driving around, I got lost with the idea of finding this particular tree and after coming by a few candidates, I wasn't so sure that's the photo I wanted. Then I came across this line of separated trees and said like “stop the car!”… Sometimes when you’re lost in the fog, you find something more beatiful.
