Of all the moments I enjoy in the backcountry, staying up late in solitude, listening to the sound of nature echo across the foggy lake. Giving time for my eyes to adjust to the moonlight. I wander out there for hours sometime. This photo was one of those moments, late at night (or early morning) at 2am, captured over 7 minutes.
A beautiful calm night summer's day at David's Lake. The full moon was lighitng up the entire lake, we could see the other campsite across the bay.
Wander at Night
After a days paddle to Silver Peak’s trail head. I wander the shoreline for a spot to kick-back. In moments like this, it’s easy to put aside the daily struggles and take in the moment.
