A rainy first night had moistened the forest and brought up more colour in foliage then I could’ve of imagined.
Unvailing The Colour
I woke-up hoping for sunshine. But the hush sound of autumn was here, so I welcomed the fog and watched it unvail colourful new beginnings.
Lone Red Amongst Evergreens
I went camping to capture the autumn colours, and to my surprise the majority of trees lining the shorelines of Wagon Road Lake were evergreens, not really what I had in mind, but it didn’t take much exploring until I found this lone maple tree, in full autumn colour. The red stood out amongst the evergreens and was simply perfect.
A Damn In The Fall
Crossing Wagon Road Lake over an impressive beaver damn. Beavers flood waters to give their families a safe haven, and inadvertently gave us a nice passageway… nature’ engineering at it’s best.
